LitScenes is built for private creative work. We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or use third-party behavioral analytics. This policy covers the LitScenes website, hosted services, SMS beta, mobile service, and customer support operated by Oʻahu Mushrooms LLC d/b/a Oʻahu A.I.
Desktop and local work
LitScenes Desktop can perform local project work and may use provider API keys you supply. Local preferences, project media, and unselected libraries remain on your Mac unless you choose an action that sends material to a hosted or third-party provider. Provider accounts you configure are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy practices.
Website and early-access list
If you join the list through litscenes.ai, we collect the email address you submit plus limited request information needed for security and delivery. It is not connected to an app account. We use it for occasional LitScenes early-access and product updates. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe path; you may also request deletion at support@litscenes.ai.
Mobile and hosted generation
- Account: identifiers and session state needed to authenticate, record accepted service terms, and manage account status. Where Sign in with Apple is used, LitScenes does not need to request your Apple name or email.
- Purchases: transaction identifiers, product and environment, and credit-ledger entries needed to grant credits once and prevent replay. Payment processors control payment credentials; LitScenes does not receive a full card number from them.
- Creative inputs: media you explicitly choose, the style or workflow selected, optional direction, source duration, and operational job records.
- Service data: request and response identifiers, status, timing, provider/model identifiers, safe inference traces, errors, usage, and output references needed to operate, explain, secure, and support the requested work.
SMS and MMS
For the SMS beta, we process your mobile number; opt-in or opt-out state; messages and commands; media you deliberately send; creative selections; generated results; delivery status; and support, balance, and security records. We use them to answer your request, maintain story continuity, operate generation and delivery, manage credits, prevent abuse, and support the service.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share a mobile number, SMS opt-in, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Consent data is used to operate the messaging program you initiated and meet messaging compliance obligations.
Processors and disclosure
LitScenes uses service providers for cloud hosting and storage, messaging delivery, Apple authentication and purchases, payment processing, and requested AI generation. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their role. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect users and the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not disclose secrets, signed media capabilities, or raw private media in public logs.
Media, security, and retention
Uploads and generated-media links may be temporary, but retention depends on the workflow, provider, account state, legal obligations, and support needs. Operational, purchase, anti-fraud, consent, and opt-out records may remain longer when needed to maintain a ledger, prevent duplicate grants, honor STOP, establish compliance, or secure the service. We use access controls, private storage where appropriate, limited signed links, and redacted operational logging, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Deletion and choices
You can avoid joining the email list, browse supported surfaces without an account, omit optional direction, avoid uploading media, use STOP for SMS, sign out, or use an in-app deletion control where available. To request access, correction, or deletion, email support@litscenes.ai. Some de-identified, security, transaction-hash, legal, or opt-out records may be retained where necessary.
Children, geography, and changes
LitScenes is not directed to children under 13. The initial hosted service is offered in the United States. We may update this policy as products or providers change; the effective date above identifies this version, and material account-gated changes may require renewed notice or assent.
